This is an all-inclusive, fully comprehensive, and exhaustive syllabus for a Fashion Design Diploma course. It contains a wide range of topics from Design, Textile and Fashion that is from fibre to apparel, for the learning of this course.

The Topics have been planned in such a hands-on manner so as to suit a One Year Diploma Course, with equal thrust to theory, practical, carry home assignment, as also field trips, visits to industry related places, and interface with experts from the fashion academy as well as textile, apparel and accessory domains.

The syllabus revolve around the basics and foundation of fashion and grooming. Students are encouraged to develop their creative and aesthetic abilities, basics of pattern making and garment construction, along with drawing and sketching skills.

The students will be assessed on the basis of marks given for internal tests, projects, journal and also the Annual examinations.

The syllabus has been meticulously designed in such a way as to offer a plethora of choices for the aspiring student. This design course offers a varied scope for career selection.
